كِتَاب الْجِهَادِ وَالسِّيَرِ

Chapter 27

(27) Chapter. The obligation of going out for Jilhad when there is a general call to arms, and what sort of Jihad and intentions are compulsory.

27- بَابُ وُجُوبِ النَّفِيرِ وَمَا يَجِبُ مِنَ الْجِهَادِ وَالنِّيَّةِ:

English narration

Narrated by عبد الله بن العباس القرشي

On the day of the Conquest (of Mecca) the Prophet (ﷺ) said, "There is no emigration after the Conquest but Jihad and intentions. When you are called (by the Muslim ruler) for fighting, go forth immediately." (See Hadith No. 42)

النص العربي

حَدَّثَنَا عَمْرُو بْنُ عَلِيٍّ ، حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ سَعِيدٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنِي مَنْصُورٌ ، عَنْ مُجَاهِدٍ ، عَنْ طَاوُسٍ ، عَنْ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُمَا ، أَنّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، قَالَ : "

يَوْمَ الْفَتْحِ لَا هِجْرَةَ بَعْدَ الْفَتْحِ ، وَلَكِنْ جِهَادٌ وَنِيَّةٌ وَإِذَا اسْتُنْفِرْتُمْ فَانْفِرُوا

" .
