Chapter 84

(84) Chapter. The sickness of the Prophet and his death.

84- بَابُ مَرَضِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ وَوَفَاتِهِ:

English narration

Narrated by عائشة بنت أبي بكر الصديق

The Prophet (ﷺ) died while he was between my chest and chin, so I never dislike the death agony for anyone after the Prophet.

النص العربي

حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ يُوسُفَ ، حَدَّثَنَا اللَّيْثُ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنِي ابْنُ الْهَادِ ، عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ الْقَاسِمِ ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ ، قَالَتْ : "

مَاتَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ وَإِنَّهُ لَبَيْنَ حَاقِنَتِي وَذَاقِنَتِي ، فَلَا أَكْرَهُ شِدَّةَ الْمَوْتِ لِأَحَدٍ أَبَدًا بَعْدَ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ
