The Statement of Allah: “(Remember) when you sought help of your Lord and He answered you (saying: ’I will help you with a thousand of a angels each behind the other (following one another) in succession.’ Allah made it only as glad tidings, and that your hearts be at rest therewith. And there is no victory except from Allah. verily, Allah is All-Mighty, All-Wise. (Remember) when He covered you with a slumber as a security from Him, and He caused water (rain) to descend on you from the sky, to clean you thereby and to remove from you the Rijz (whispering, evil-suggestions) of Shaitan (Satan), and to strengthen yor hearts, and make your feet firm thereby. (Remember) when your Lord revealed to the angels, ’Verily, I am with you so keep firm those who have believed. I will cast terror into the hearts of those who have disbelived, so strike them over the necks, and smite over all their fingers and toes.’ This is because they defined and disobeys Allah and His Messenger, then verily, Allah is Severe in punisllment.” (V.8:9-13)55- بَابٌ:(5) Chapter.66- بَابُ عِدَّةِ أَصْحَابِ بَدْرٍ:(6) Chapter. The Statement of Allah: (“Truly, Allah has given you victory on many battlefields), and on the day of Hunain (battle) when you rejoiced at your great number… (up to)… Oft-Forgiving, Most Merciful.” (V.9:22-27)4656- بَابُ غَزَاةِ أَوْطَاسٍ:(56) Chapter. The Ghazwa of At-Ta’if was in the month of Shawwal, during the 8th year (of Al-Hijrah).4858- بَابُ السَّرِيَّةِ الَّتِي قِبَلَ نَجْدٍ:(58) Chapter. The Sariya (i.e., an army unit sent by the Prophet ) which was sent towards Najd.4959- بَابُ بَعْثِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ خَالِدَ بْنَ الْوَلِيدِ إِلَى بَنِي جَذِيمَةَ:(59) Chapter. The Prophet sent Khalid bin Al-Walid (to fight) with Banu Jadhima.5060- بَابُ سَرِيَّةُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ حُذَافَةَ السَّهْمِيِّ وَعَلْقَمَةَ بْنِ مُجَزِّزٍ الْمُدْلِجِيِّ:(60) Chapter. Bukhari · 3949كَمْ غَزَا النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ مِنْ غَزْوَةٍ ؟Once, while I was sitting beside Zaid bin Al-Arqam, he was asked, "How many Ghazwat did the Prophet undertake?" Zaid replied, "Nineteen." They said, "In how many Ghazwat did you join him?" He replied, "Seventeen." I aske5 narratorsBukhari · 3950يَا أُمَّ صَفْوَانَ جَهِّزِينِي ، فَقَالَتْ لَهُ : يَا أَبَا صَفْوَانَ وَقَدْ نَسِيتَ مَا ، قَالَ : لَكَ أَخُوكَ الْيَثْرِبِيُّ ، قَالَ : لَا مَا أُرِيدُ أَنْ أَجُوزَ مَعَهُمْ إِلَّا قَرِيبًا , فَلَمَّا خَرَجَ أُمَيَّةُ From Sa`d bin Mu`adh Sa`d bin Mu`adh was an intimate friend of Umaiya bin Khalaf and whenever Umaiya passed through Medina, he used to stay with Sa`d, and whenever Sa`d went to Mecca, he used to stay with Umaiya.
