Bukhari · 4147أَتَدْرُونَ مَاذَا قَالَ رَبُّكُمْ ؟We went out with Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) in the year of Al-Hudaibiya. Was the conquest of Mecca a victory? They camped at a well and drew its water till it was dried. A young woman followed `Umar and said, "O chief of the believers! My husband has died, leaving little children. (The sub--narrator MahmiJd said, Al-Musaiyab said, 'Then; forgot it (i.e., the6 narratorsBukhari · 4163إِنَّ أَصْحَابَ مُحَمَّدٍ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ لَمْ يَعْلَمُوهَا وَعَلِمْتُمُوهَا أَنْتُمْ , فَأَنْتُمْ أَعْلَمُWhen I set out for Hajj, I passed by some people offering a prayer, I asked, "What is this mosque?" They said, "This is the Tree where Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) took the Ar-Ridwan Pledge of allegiance. Then I went to Sa`id b6 narratorsBukhari · 4164كَانَ مِمَّنْ بَايَعَ تَحْتَ الشَّجَرَةِ , فَرَجَعْنَا إِلَيْهَا الْعَامَ الْمُقْبِلَ فَعَمِيَتْ عَلَيْنَاThat his father was amongst those who had given the Pledge of allegiance (to the Prophet (ﷺ) ) beneath the Tree, and the next year when they went towards the Tree, they were not able to recognize it.5 narratorsBukhari · 4165حَدَّثَنَا قَبِيصَةُ , حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ , عَنْ طَارِقٍ , قَالَ : ذُكِرَتْ عِنْدَ سَعِيدِ بْنِ الْمُسَيِّبِ الشَّجَرَةُ , فَضَحِكَ فَقَالَ : أَخْبَرَنِي أَبِي , وَكَانَ شَهِدَهَا .(The tree where the Ridwan Pledge of allegiance was taken by the Prophet) was mentioned before Sa'id bin Al-Musaiyab. On that he smiled and said, "My father informed me (about it) and he had witnessed it (i.e. the Pledge5 narratorsBukhari · 4166كَانَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ إِذَا أَتَاهُ قَوْمٌ بِصَدَقَةٍ , قَالَ :(Who was one of those who had given the Pledge of allegiance to the Prophet (ﷺ) beneath the Tree) When the people brought Sadaqa (i.e. rak'at) to the Prophet (ﷺ) he used to say, "O Allah! Bless them with your Mercy." Ibn Zaid said, "For what are the people giving Pledge of allegiance to `Abdullah bin Hanzala?" "May you live prosperously! You enjoyed the company of the Prophet (ﷺ) and gave him the Pledge of allegiance (of Al-Hudaibiya) under the Tree."
