كِتَاب فَضَائِلِ الْقُرْآنِ

Chapter 37

(37) Chapter. Recite (and study) the Quran together as long as you agree about its interpretation.

37- بَابُ اقْرَءُوا الْقُرْآنَ مَا ائْتَلَفَتْ قُلُوبُكُمْ:

English narration

Narrated by جندب بن عبد الله البجلي

The Prophet (ﷺ) said, "Recite (and study) the Qur'an as long as you agree about its interpretation, but if you have any difference of opinion (as regards to its interpretation and meaning) then you should stop reciting it (for the time being).

النص العربي

حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو النُّعْمَانِ ، حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادٌ ، عَنْ أَبِي عِمْرَانَ الْجَوْنِيِّ ، عَنْ جُنْدَبِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، قَالَ : "

اقْرَءُوا الْقُرْآنَ مَا ائْتَلَفَتْ قُلُوبُكُمْ ، فَإِذَا اخْتَلَفْتُمْ فَقُومُوا عَنْهُ

" .
