Book 72: The Book of Slaughtering and Hunting

كِتَاب الذَّبَائِحِ وَالصَّيْدِ

Chapter 20

(20) Chapter. Not to slaughter with a tooth, a bone or a nail.

20- بَابُ لاَ يُذَكَّى بِالسِّنِّ وَالْعَظْمِ وَالظُّفُرِ:

English narration

Narrated by رافع بن خديج الأنصاري

The Prophet (ﷺ) said, "Eat what is slaughtered (with any instrument) that makes blood flow out, except what is slaughtered with a tooth or a nail.'

النص العربي

حَدَّثَنَا قَبِيصَةُ ، حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ ، عَنْ عَبَايَةَ بْنِ رِفَاعَةَ ، عَنْ رَافِعِ بْنِ خَدِيجٍ ، قَالَ : قَالَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : "

كُلْ يَعْنِي مَا أَنْهَرَ الدَّمَ إِلَّا السِّنَّ وَالظُّفُرَ

" .
