Chapter 38

(38) Chapter. While putting on the shoes, one should start with right foot.

38- بَابُ يَبْدَأُ بِالنَّعْلِ الْيُمْنَى:

English narration

Narrated by عائشة بنت أبي بكر الصديق

The Prophet (ﷺ) used to like starting from the right in performing ablution, combing his hair and putting on his shoes.

النص العربي

حَدَّثَنَا حَجَّاجُ بْنُ مِنْهَالٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ ، قَالَ : أَخْبَرَنِي أَشْعَثُ بْنُ سُلَيْمٍ ، سَمِعْتُ أَبِي ، يُحَدِّثُ ، عَنْ مَسْرُوقٍ ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهَا ، قَالَتْ : "

كَانَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يُحِبُّ التَّيَمُّنَ فِي طُهُورِهِ وَتَرَجُّلِهِ وَتَنَعُّلِهِ

" .
