كتاب الْأَيْمَانِ وَالنُّذُورِ

Chapter 31

(31) Chapter. To vow for something which one does not possess, and to vow for something sinful.

31- بَابُ النَّذْرِ فِيمَا لاَ يَمْلِكُ وَفِي مَعْصِيَةٍ:

English narration

Narrated by عائشة بنت أبي بكر الصديق

The Prophet (ﷺ) said, "Whoever vowed to be obedient to Allah, must be obedient to Him; and whoever vowed to be disobedient to Allah, should not be disobedient to Him."

النص العربي

حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو عَاصِمٍ ، عَنْ مَالِكٍ ، عَنْ طَلْحَةَ بْنِ عَبْدِ الْمَلِكِ ، عَنْ الْقَاسِمِ ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهَا ، قَالَتْ : قَالَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : "

مَنْ نَذَرَ أَنْ يُطِيعَ اللَّهَ ، فَلْيُطِعْهُ ، وَمَنْ نَذَرَ أَنْ يَعْصِيَهُ ، فَلَا يَعْصِهِ

" .
