Bukhari · 4892بَايَعْنَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَقَرَأَ عَلَيْنَا : أَنْ لا يُشْرِكْنَ بِاللَّهِ شَيْئًا سورة الممتحنة آية 12 ، وَنَهَانَا عَنِ النِّيَاحَةِ ، فَقَبَضَتِ امْرَأَةٌ يَدَهَا ، فَقَالَتْ : أَسْWe took the oath of allegiance to Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) and he recited to us 'They will not associate anything in worship with Allah,' and forbade us to bewail the dead.
