26- بَابُ شَاةٍ مَسْمُوطَةٍ وَالْكَتِفِ وَالْجَنْبِ:
(26) Chapter. A roasted sheep (and the eating of a piece of meat) from the shoulder of mutton or from the ribs.

Bukhari · 5421كُلُوا فَمَا أَعْلَمُ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ رَأَى رَغِيفًا مُرَقَّقًا حَتَّى لَحِقَ بِاللَّهِ وَلَا رَأَى شَاةً سَمِيطًا بِعَيْنِهِ قَطُّWe used to visit Anas bin Malik while his baker was standing (and baking). Anas would say, "Eat! I do not know that the Prophet (ﷺ) had ever seen well-baked bread till he met Allah, nor had he ever seen a roasted sheep w4 narratorsBukhari · 5422رَأَيْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَحْتَزُّ مِنْ كَتِفِ شَاةٍ فَأَكَلَ مِنْهَا ، فَدُعِيَ إِلَى الصَّلَاةِ ، فَقَامَ فَطَرَحَ السِّكِّينَ فَصَلَّى وَلَمْ يَتَوَضَّأْI saw Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) cutting part of the shoulder of mutton with a knife.
