12- بَابُ الْقَبَاءِ وَفَرُّوجِ حَرِيرٍ:
(12) Chapter. Al-Qaba. And the silken Farruj, which is a kind of Al-Qaba, and it is said that it has a sit at the back.

Bukhari · 5800قَسَمَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَقْبِيَةً وَلَمْ يُعْطِ مَخْرَمَةَ شَيْئًا ، فَقَالَ مَخْرَمَةُ : يَا بُنَيِّ انْطَلِقْ بِنَا إِلَى رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، فَانْطَلَقAllah's Messenger (ﷺ) distributed some Qaba's but he did not give anything to Makhrama. Makhrama said (to me), "O my son! Let us go to Allah's Messenger (ﷺ)." So I proceeded with him and he said, "Go in and call him 'or 4 narratorsBukhari · 5801أُهْدِيَ لِرَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَرُّوجُ حَرِيرٍ ، فَلَبِسَهُ ثُمَّ صَلَّى فِيهِ ، ثُمَّ انْصَرَفَ فَنَزَعَهُ نَزْعًا شَدِيدًا كَالْكَارِهِ لَهُ ، ثُمَّ قَالَ : لَا يَنْبَغِي هَذَا لِلْمُتَّقA silken Farruj was presented to Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) and he put it on and offered the prayer in it.
