19- بَابُ الْوَلاَءُ لِمَنْ أَعْتَقَ، وَمِيرَاثُ اللَّقِيطِ:
(19) Chapter. Al-Wala is for the manumitter. (Regarding) the inheritance of Al-Laqit (a small child or an insane person, who has nobody to be responsible for him).

Bukhari · 6751اشْتَرِيهَا فَإِنَّ الْوَلَاءَ لِمَنْ أَعْتَقَ ، وَأُهْدِيَ لَهَا شَاةٌ , فَقَالَ : هُوَ لَهَا صَدَقَةٌ وَلَنَا هَدِيَّةٌI bought Barira (a female slave). The Prophet (ﷺ) said (to me), "Buy her as the Wala' is for the manumitted." Once she was given a sheep (in charity).
