كِتَاب الْمَغَازِي
Chapter 18
(18) Chapter: “When two parties from among you were about the lose heart, but Allah was their Wali (Protector and Supporter).” (V.3:122)
18- بَابُ: {إِذْ هَمَّتْ طَائِفَتَانِ مِنْكُمْ أَنْ تَفْشَلاَ وَاللَّهُ وَلِيُّهُمَا وَعَلَى اللَّهِ فَلْيَتَوَكَّلِ الْمُؤْمِنُونَ}:
English narration
Narrated by سعد بن أبي وقاص الزهري
Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) mentioned both his father and mother for me on the day of the battle of Uhud.

حَدَّثَنَا مُسَدَّدٌ , حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى , عَنْ يَحْيَى بْنِ سَعِيدٍ , قَالَ : سَمِعْتُ سَعِيدَ بْنَ الْمُسَيِّبِ , قَالَ : سَمِعْتُ سَعْدًا , يَقُولُ : "
جَمَعَ لِي النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَبَوَيْهِ يَوْمَ أُحُدٍ
" .
