كِتَاب تَفْسِيرِ الْقُرْآنِ

Chapter 26

(26) Chapter. Allah’s Statement: “Verily, We have sent revelation to you, (O Muhammad )... (till)... as We sent revelation to Nuh (Noah) and Yunus (Jonah), Harun (Aaron) and Sulaiman (Solomon)...” (V.4:163)

26- بَابُ قَوْلِهِ: {إِنَّا أَوْحَيْنَا إِلَيْكَ} إِلَى قَوْلِهِ: {وَيُونُسَ وَهَارُونَ وَسُلَيْمَانَ}:

English narration

Narrated by عبد الله بن مسعود

The Prophet (ﷺ) said, "None has the right to say that I am better than Jonah bin Matta."

النص العربي

حَدَّثَنَا مُسَدَّدٌ ، حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى ، عَنْ سُفْيَانَ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنِي الْأَعْمَشُ ، عَنْ أَبِي وَائِلٍ ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ : "

مَا يَنْبَغِي لِأَحَدٍ أَنْ يَقُولَ : أَنَا خَيْرٌ مِنْ يُونُسَ بْنِ مَتَّى

" .
